She was born in Daegu, South Korea and is South Korean by birth. She is not married. She studied dance when she was a student.
She made her debut in 2014 as Bambino. Aside from promoting with Bambino, she became active as a singer and dancer.

She is the third popular member after Eunsol and Hadam, according to the voting of their fan in a website. She has her fanclub named “Dahee fan club”, and also has an instagram account with an account name “heeyong1014”. She likes to post her pictures with other members and she has 13k followers. That is why she is known as an instagrammer. She has her own fan club still now.
